Shelley M. Richmond Joseph

Shelley’s practice concentrates in criminal defense. Prior to founding the firm, Shelley served as an Assistant Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for seven years. Shelley prosecuted cases throughout the Commonwealth and for five years as a Special Assistant Suffolk County District Attorney as a part of the Criminal Bureau and the Grove Hall Safe Neighborhood Initiative - a community crime fighting partnership between the Attorney General's Office, Suffolk County District Attorney's Office, Boston Police Department, Mayor's Office and community based organizations which combines targeted prosecution with neighborhood revitalization, violence prevention, intervention and treatment programs. She is an experienced and successful trial attorney who has tried a number of jury trials in Massachusetts District and Superior Courts. Shelley also served as a prosecutor in the Business and Fair Labor Bureau as well as the Family and Community Crimes Bureau. Shelley is a graduate of Boston College and New England School of Law. She has served as an adjunct faculty member at New England School of Law and Massachusetts School of Law, and has been featured as a lecturer on the topic of innovative jury techniques sponsored by the Massachusetts Bar Association. Shelley is a member of the Board of Trustees of Temple Israel of Natick. Shelley has been practicing law since 1992 and is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the First Circuit of the United States Court of Appeals.

Scott A. Joseph
Scott A. Joseph

Scott’s practice concentrates in real estate, corporate, trust and estate, and personal injury law. Scott possesses extensive experience in both commercial and residential real estate transactions and condominium conversions, as well as corporate law, business formation, business mergers and acquisitions, estate planning, and trust and estate matters. In addition, he is counsel to several privately held entities in various industries (such as retail stores, restaurants, transportation companies, personal service companies and medical care providers). Scott is a graduate of the University of Maryland and Franklin Pierce Law Center. He is an active member of Natick Center Associates, sitting on its Government Relations Committee, and is an elected Town Meeting Member in Natick, Massachusetts. He previously served for two years as a member of the Brookline, Massachusetts Economic Development Board, a twelve-member board responsible for advising the Town Selectmen regarding business, real estate and economic development matters. Scott also served as a member of the Natick, Massachusetts Alcohol Policy Review Board which was responsible for advising Town Selectmen regarding business and alcoholic beverage licensure matters. Scott is an active member of Bet Tzedek, a program that provides pro bono legal assistance through Jewish Family and Children's Service. In addition, he authored an article entitled “Protecting Your Name from Identity Thieves”, published in the June, 2005 edition of The Young Lawyer, a publication of the American Bar Association. Scott is a certified title agent of Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company, and is a member of both the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Real Estate Bar Association of Massachusetts. Scott has been practicing law since 1995 and is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
